Overview: 20 year old Latino who was falsely convicted of murder and rape off of false forensic science evidence, he served 10 years and was then exonerated.

Take Away: I learned from this essay that for the past hundred years people have been being convicted for things they didn't do. This leads back to the crucible and probably even before that. I also learned that helpful programs like The Innocence Project program fight every day to have people exonerated for crimes they have not committed.
