To Judge Howard Johnson:

So in a the court of law demonizing a mother as having a mental illness is okay? In most cases a mother does anything to protect her child. A women will not put lies in to their childs heads nor make their children lie in a court of law. A mother should have the right to defend their child in any situation. Some things have got to stop.

In 1996 my mother was put in to a mental institution. I was 14 years old. She was my best friend. Flash back to about a year in a half before, April 22, 2008. It was my freshman year of high school. I was very active in the schools sports programs. I grew a great connection with my track coach. However he got a little to friendly with me. So of course my mom was not to happy when I had told her about the whole situation. A current witch hunt was taking place in courts across the United States. "A term called parental alienation syndrome (PAS) or PA was being used with devastating results", says Joan Dawson in PAS: A Modern Day Witch Hunt. She was falsely misdiagnosed.

The term PAS actually lacks scientific backing meaning there is no substantial evidence to prove PAS. PAS was made up by scientist RIchard Garndner. Over a million women alone this year have been misdiagnosed with PAS. Gardner was a misogynist which made his opinion biased. Why his term has been mentioned in courts across the country this is definitely a sign of the deeply‐rooted misogyny that still exists in our world to day and seeks to scapegoat women for damages that often enough are out of their control. This isn't fair. Why does my mom have to be taking a way from me for trying to protect me? Why is she being called a liar when she was telling the truth? In The Crucible Elizabeth Proctor was falsely accused of "witchery". Abigail Williams the most hated girl in american literature falsely accused Mrs.Proctor of voodoo(Miller), Elizabeth had know say she was made to look guilty and was punished for something she did not do.

The question is still why? The women who knows me best, is being taken away from me. I was raped and you put the blame on my mother. This man had violated me multiple times and the fact that mothers around the world are being taking away from their children is unfathomable. There is no rational reason for any of this. If anything it should be the men making false accusations about these women, they should be incriminated. We should take a step back and look at all the scenarios When will this stop!

All i want is my mother back. She is not a witch. She did not put lies into my head, I am my own person. I decide for myself. She is a great women. We have to put an end to PAS. It's not even real. PAS is a term used to incriminate women. It lacks scientific meaning as I have said before. Whats happening is not okay and we all know that.
